If you watched the first series of The Durrells on ITV, you'll know that it's based on Gerald Durrell's 'Corfu Trilogy', which tells the story of a young Gerald Durrell and his childhood on the Greek island of Corfu in the 1930s.

ITV have announced that there is to be a second series with filming starting in Autumn 2016.
