Syrian asylum seeker in Sweden: Why I want to go home
A Syrian couple who made the journey to Sweden last year say they're thinking of returning to their homeland because living in Sweden is driving them 'crazy'.
Meshlab and his wife Ghusoun told 5 live's Afternoon Edition they 'made a mistake' moving there.
He said: "I left my family alone. I left my country to be destroyed. I am going crazy here in Sweden, I can't do anything, nothing, I just sit and eat. Maybe I should go back to Syria?"
Ghusoun says that although the Swedish people are very kind, they are tired and bored, 'we haven't got any activities here, we just eat, sleep and wait."
