It is fifty years since 24-year-old Bob Dylan was toured the UK with, for the first time, an electric backing group: The Hawks. Some in the audience at Manchester Free Hall felt betrayed by his conversion to the electric guitar. The night is also remembered for the most famous heckle in rock & roll history.
