Lovenkrands: my father's dementia was 'heartbreaking'
Former Denmark international Peter Lovenkrands tells of his father's "heartbreaking" fight with dementia.
His father, Bent, passed away in January 2010 at the age of 61, after a five year battle with the disease.
Lovenkrands recalls being "unable to stop crying" when having to hold his father down to help a doctor administer some medicine as his condition deteriorated.
