British tourist: Trouble in Turkey won't ruin my holiday
Business owners in Turkey are blaming worries over terror attacks for a drop in the number of holidays being booked there.
5 live has exclusive figures from GFK, a firm which looks at British foreign package holidays, which show a 32% drop in the number of these breaks being booked from the UK to Turkey from April 2015 to 2016 - over 186,000 passengers in total.
Meanwhile bookings to Mainland Spain and Canaries are both up 33% indicating people are choosing to travel there instead.
Holidaymaker Nick Wilson, from Newcastle, said he felt Turkey was "still safe" for tourists and would not let the wider trouble "ruin [his] holiday".
