An investigation has discovered that hundreds of people across the UK own dangerous animals such as snakes, lions and alligators.

Chris Weller lives in Kent with his crocodile Caesar who he says tells him when he wants to watch television.

"We've got a set up where the television is down on the floor and in front of it is a cushion and he puts his head on that cushion and waits for it to come on, he's also got another cushion which has got a radio and he listens to Classic FM mostly."
