Police to attract more Asian officers
A recruitment drive aimed at creating a more diverse work force has been launched by West Yorkshire Police, which wants to be more inclusive and representative of the community it serves. The service is the fourth largest in the country but only 5 per cent of its force are from an ethnic minority background, despite them comprising of 18% of the area.
