The modular, build-it-yourself robot kits
A modular based kit which allows robots to be created out of cardboard, non-plastics and other materials has been developed.
The kit, created by Ziro and currently in crowdfunding, is operated by a glove fitted with motion sensors allowing robots to be gesture controlled.
Meanwhile, prototype CellRobot is a collection of modular robots ("robotic cells"), which when connected together can perform different functions.
