The father of the record breaking world's youngest water skier has told 5 live his daughter "loves" the sport.

Keith St Onge, who is a professional water skier, said the idea of breaking the record came about after he "put a little pair of skis together" to pull six-month-old Zyla around the living room.

Although she can't walk yet, Zyla was gripping a handle bar and standing on baby-sized skis. She managed to glide for 209 metres across a lake in Florida.
