How to stop nuisance calls to your mobile
There's now relief on hand for millions of mobile phone users who are sick of receiving unsolicited sales and marketing calls. John Mitchison, who is head of the Telephone Preference Service - which manages this database - told 5 live “it is very straightforward to register” and your number will be added to the database straightaway once you text.
According to research by the communications regulator, only 3 per cent of mobile phone users have registered with the TPS, as opposed 85 per cent of landlines.
