Bite Club: a support group for shark attack survivors
This week a shark ripped the leg off Ben Gerring, an Australian surfing off the coast of western Australia. He's currently in a critical condition.. His physical scars will be no doubt extensive, but what about the mental trauma that follows such an event? Dave Pearson was attacked by a shark in 2011 - he didn't lose any limbs but suffered wounds to his forearm, back and ribs as a result. And he's the founder of Bite Club, a support group for survivors of shark attacks.
