Michael Parkinson: Ali was extraordinary and explosive
Sir Michael Parkinson has paid tribute to Muhammad Ali, who has died aged 74.
Ali appeared on Michael Parkinson's chat show four times and remembers him as boxing's biggest ever star.
Parkinson said Ali was the most “extraordinary, explosive, dynamic person. Those first interviews I did with him defined what I did on the ѿý”.
He said “the ultimate irony of Ali was that he was the greatest fighter there’s ever been […] to then be affected by a tragedy caused by the sport he loved.”
