Mark Pougatch and Lee Dixon cycle from London to Paris for Euro 2016
Most fans will be travelling by plane or boat to watch the Euros in France this summer. But Mark Pougatch and Lee Dixon had other ideas. Pougatch, who is covering the tournament for ITV, and ex-Arsenal defender Dixon decided to cycle from London to Paris instead because 鈥 well, just because.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a great way to see the countryside,鈥 says Pougatch. 鈥淚t was good fun,the weather was pretty kind to us actually apart from a big thunderstorm.鈥
鈥淚 fell off, I was the only one who did! I had a little bit of blood on the elbow and I had a little tumble yesterday.鈥
Euro 2016 kicks off tomorrow, with England and Wales facing Russia and Slovakia respectively on Saturday. Northern Ireland take on Poland on Sunday.
