A woman who was Muhammad Ali鈥檚 pen pal has told 5 live he became her 鈥渧ery best friend鈥� over the 30 years they corresponded.
Stephanie Meade was only ten years old when she first wrote to Ali, and her friends told her he would never reply. However after a few months鈥� wait she received a hand written letter.
Paying her last respects to Ali in Louisville, Kentucky, Stephanie said 鈥渉e showed his love for me and I am forever changed by it鈥�.
