Cabinet minister Prito Patel told John Pienaar that she has no regrets over campaigning for a Brexit even if it means she might lose her job.

She said her views about Europe had been well known so it was not a surprise that she should back the Leave campaign, even if that meant defying her own government's position.

She said she hoped people would recognise that it was the right thing to do to stand up for what you believe in, whatever the consequences.
