Vigils have been held across the world to pay tribute to the 49 people who were shot dead in an Orlando nightclub.

Zoe Ledley Watkins from Deptford is in a same-sex relationship, and attended a gathering in Soho to show her solidarity.

She told 5 live reporter Steven Chittenden it had been a "very emotional" day.

She said: "I felt I really needed to be amongst people that were experiencing the same kind of pain and fear that I'm feeling at this time."
