Saving the albatross in the southern oceans
A special task force set up to save the albatross is making good progress, according to a new report. Previously an estimated 100,000 albatrosses were accidentally killed by fishing boats every year, making them one of the most threatened groups of birds in the world. Oliver Yates is the programme manager of The Albatross Task Force.
