Why Some Brazilians Are Scared To Visit America
In Rio de Janeiro, a favela called Cidade de Deus has become a kind of internationally known symbol of violence and poverty. Still, some people there say that although they live in a poor and violent neighbourhood, they consider themselves lucky that they don’t have to face the dangers of US-style mass-shootings.
