Boris Johnson: 'No economic downside' to Brexit
Leading Vote Leave campaigner Boris Johnson says he has seen "no serious evidence" of an economic downside to Britain leaving the EU.
Asked by 5 live's John Pienaar if a leave vote was an economic "gamble," the Conservative MP replied: "The gamble is staying in a failing system... the euro is causing misery in many parts of the EU.”
This clip was originally broadcast on Pienaar's Politics on Sunday 19 June 2016, but was pre-recorded before the death of Jo Cox.
