Lucas: EU Ref result is 'a massive wake up call to Westminster'
The UK has voted by a narrow margin to leave the European Union in a historic referendum.
Green MP and Remain campaigner Caroline Lucas said the result showed 鈥渉ow deep divisions鈥� in the country went, and the 鈥渓evels of anger and alienation鈥� people felt.
鈥淚 worry that leaving the EU is actually going to make our situation so much worse and people are going to end up even more angry .鈥�
Lib Dem leader Tim Farron added 鈥淚 agree with that. There鈥檚 nothing more dangerous than a sense of betrayal amongst the people.鈥�
