EU referendum: Farron ‘angry and heartbroken’ at referendum result
Tim Farron says he is “angry” and “heartbroken” at the UK’s decision to leave the EU, blaming Conservatives “denigrating” the EU over the years.
“What I’m terrified of now is not the political consequences… I'm bothered about the fact that we have been led by our Prime Minister's failure to deliver this into effectively an utterly unnecessary recession, so I'm heartbroken by the result.”
