‘With amazing people they don’t realise, what they do comes so naturally to them’
Hazel developed post-traumatic stress disorder after she was assaulted on her doorstep. She then moved house, but was harassed by neighbours as a result of her mental health condition. She barely dared leave her home, but her support worker Rachel was determined to help her find solutions, and in Hazel’s view went way beyond the call of duty.
