How The Last Supper was restored to its former glory
In 1999 one of Leonardo da Vinci's great masterpieces was revealed to the public in Milan, after 20 years of painstaking restoration work. Mike Lanchin speaks to Pinin Brambilla, leader of the restoration team, about how they uncovered six different layers of restoration work done over the last 500 years.
