What's the best children's book of all time?

Harry Potter is the book most adults say every child should read, according to a new ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ poll. A thousand adults in the United Kingdom were given a choice of ten classic books chosen by recommendations from the British public, with J.K. Rowling's magical saga coming out on top. Roald Dahl's The BFG came second and To Kill A Mocking Bird by Harper Lee was third. But what makes a good children's book and why are they important? Professor Kimberley Reynolds is a specialist in Children's Literature Studies from the University of Newcastle in the north of England. She told Dan Damon about the first book she ever read.
