Osteoarthritis of the hands usually happens as part of nodal osteoarthritis (a form of osteoarthritis that runs in families) and mainly affects women after the menopause. Jenni Murray talks to listener Linda Muller about how the condition makes life difficult and Tonia Vincent, Professor of Musculoskeletal Biology at Oxford University talks about prevention and treatments.
