Earlier this year the famous Congolese musician Papa Wemba died unexpectedly. To his fans he was more than just a great singer songwriter; he was a stylish dresser in what's called the sapeur tradition. Our 蜜芽传媒 Africa team decided to honour this tradition with their own celebration. Mayeni Jones, Peter Okwoche and Mila Kimbuini start with the basics.
