Erdogan ally: 'Coup failed because Turks support democracy'
Jubilant supporters of Turkey's president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, gathered in Istanbul's Taksim Square and other cities across Turkey to show support after a coup against his government failed. Egemen Bagish, a senior member of the ruling AK party, says the US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen was to blame.
