Le Corbusier Works Named as UN World Heritage Sites
The United Nation's cultural organisation has listed 17 works by the pioneering Franco-Swiss architect Le Corbusier as world heritage sites. The sites are in seven countries. They include La Cite Radieuse in Marseille, Maison Guiette in Antwerp and the Indian city of Chandigarh. Dan Damon asked architecture critic Rowan Moore whether Le Corbusier's buildings, often very stark constructions, were actually good places to live and work.
