Trapped in a carpark: ‘It took us 4 hours to get out!’
An Ikea customer, Anna McSherry, has told 5 live it took over 4 hours to get out of a store carpark on Sunday.
Customers were left beeping their horns in frustration as they struggled to get out of the multi-storey carpark in Reading. The branch is the first Ikea to open in the UK in seven years.
Manager Johanna Heuren said a "traffic management plan" would remain in place while they investigated the cause of Sunday's delays.
