A woman who was run over when a robber stole her car said she thought she was going to die.

78 year old Dorothy Cooper was shopping in Royton when a robber duped her into believing there was something wrong with her car. As she got out to look, he stole the vehicle and ran her over. She suffered multiple injuries including a fractured spine and pelvis.

Dorothy told 5 live Afternoon Edition that when a woman came to her aid she asked her "am I going to die in this carpark?"

The man responsible, Paul Anthony Moore was sentenced to 11 years in prison.
