The purges in Turkey widen
Today, more than 15,000 education staff have been suspended. They join great swathes of the army, the judiciary, the government, the religious establishment and the police in being accused of having links to Fethullah Gulen, the US-based Islamic cleric whom the authorities say was behind the attempted overthrow of the government. Our Turkey correspondent is Mark Lowen
