Hyde Park ‘water fight’ eyewitness describes unrest
An eyewitness, who filmed a Hyde Park "water fight" that turned violent, has described the "victimisation" faced by the police from the crowd.
Speaking to 5 live's Phil Williams, Waqqas Nawaz said the crowd were mainly in “good spirits” but that there were some people in the crowd “trying to provoke the matter”.
“I didn’t see anybody from the crowd getting hurt or anything”, he said, although the Metropolitan Police reported one officer was stabbed and four others were injured.
