Boston bombing amputee learns to dance again
Adrianne Haslet-Davis, a former professional ballroom dancer and survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing, describes how the blade enabled her to dance again.
Adrianne lost her leg below the knee in the attack in April 2013 but describes the "amazing" feeling of doing jive flips with the aid of a running blade - which would've been impossible with a generic prosthetic limb.
"I remember thinking I can't believe I'm bouncing, I can't believe it's engaging the muscles the way it is. I actually feel like I have a leg again," she said.
