A French man is suing his former employer because he says he was suffering from "bore out", which is the tedious equivalent of burnout. Frederic Desnard says the job turned him into a "professional zombie" and wants the equivalent of £300,000 in compensation.

Gordon Tinline, who is an occupational psychologist told 5 live being bored at work can have "a long term risk" for your health, but making your job more interesting has to be a "shared responsibility" between employees and employers.
