My unusable hands - the story of a failed transplant
In 2009 Jeff Kepner made headlines when he became the first person to receive a double hand transplant in the United States, after losing all four of his limbs from a toxic infection. Six years later, this extraordinary procedure has been a failure, with the new forearms and hands not working, making Jeff's life worse.
