Conwy residents enlist birds of prey to tackle seagull menace
The Conwy Residents' Action Party have enlisted the help of birds of prey to scare off seagulls that are a menace to the area.
Kevin Bunn, a senior director of Lord of the Wings, received a call from a local resident who was annoyed with the seagull problem in the area. Kevin said: “She asked me if there was anything I could do, so for 3 days a week I perch my birds in the gardens to scare the seagulls away.”
The gulls aren't harmed by the birds of prey, they are merely scared away from the area.
When asked how to deal with an oncoming seagull, Bunn said: ”The first thing I can say to people is to turn and face them; they are bullies and don’t like to be faced up to.”
