Taiwan apologises for indigenous groups 'suffering'
In a historic gesture, the president of Taiwan has become the island's first ever leader to apologise for the treatment of its native people. Tsai Ing-wen admitted that Chinese settlers "brutally violated" indigenous people's land rights and way of life. Kolas Yotaka is a legislator in the Taiwanese parliament and herself one of the Amis people.
