Himmler Diaries Found in Russia
The diaries of Hitler's most notorious henchman have been published in a German newspaper - and they reveal chilling details of his daily life. Heinrich Himmler was commander of the elite SS and Gestapo forces, as well as being the architect of the Final Solution, before he committed suicide after his capture in 1945. His diaries were subsequently found in Russia and Bild newspaper journalist Damian Imoehl was one of the first to come across them.
