Record-breaking shark 'won't become official record'
A group of amateur fishermen have landed what they believe to be a record-breaking thresher shark off the coast of Cornwall.
The men spent over an hour dragging it on board before measuring it, taking photographs and then returning it to the sea.
Mike Heylin, chair of the British Record Fish Committee (BRFC), told Eddie Mair while the catch wouldn't become an official record, it was likely that it would "go onto the notable fish list."
