Will same-sex marriage ever be legal in NI?
The Northern Ireland assembly voted in favour of legalising same-sex marriage in 2015 but the ruling Democratic Unionist Party used what is known as a Petition of Concern to stop the reform going through.
Joanna Gosling has been speaking to Adam Murray, who works for an LGBT organisation in Belfast, Ellen Murray, a transgender woman, and Peter Lynas, who is the Northern Ireland director of the Evangelical Alliance that opposes gay marriage.
