UKIP in turmoil as three quit over Woolfe’s exclusion
Since Nigel Farage resigned as UKIP leader straight after the UK voted to leave the EU, bitter infighting has overshadowed the contest to replace him.
Favourite Steven Woolfe has been excluded, because he submitted his nomination papers 17 minutes after the deadline.
Three members of UKIP's ruling National Executive Committee immediately resigned amid accusations of political bias.
