Journey to Rio: Our Olympics diary
The 2016 Olympic Games will formally begin on Friday with the opening ceremony in Rio De Janeiro.
More than 10,000 athletes from 206 countries will take part.
Two of those going for gold will be Team GB trampolinist Kat Driscoll and marathon runner Aly Dixon.
They will be filming their Olympic journey for the Victoria Derbyshire programme. Here are their first diary entries.
