Why a Russian city is planning to erect a statue to Ivan the Terrible
The Russian city of Oryol has unveiled plans to erect the country's first monument to Ivan the Terrible, the controversial ruler who killed his own son. Peter Frankopan from the University of Oxford told Dan Damon the tsar was a more complex historical figure than his name suggests.
