Newcastle fan: 'I'd rather have a proven Championship manager'
Newcastle United fan Craig claimed that he would rather have a manager with proven Championship experience than the former Champions League winning manager Rafa Benitez in charge at the club he supports.
"I would have rather had a proven manager who's got teams promoted; Steve Bruce or Ian Holloway, somebody who knows what they're doing in the Championship."
The 56-year-old Spaniard signed a new three-year contract following Newcastle's relegation from the Premier League.
Benitez's side fell to a second defeat in a row in the Championship, losing 2-1 at home to Huddersfield at St James Park.
