China miffed at falling behind Britain in Olympic medals table

The United States is currently topping the medals table at the Rio Olympics. No surprise there. But what is surprising is that in second place at the moment is the British team followed by China. Britain has never finished an Olympics ahead of China since the latter re-joined the Games in 1984. In Rio, China certainly has more medals to come in badminton and table tennis. But as the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ China editor Carrie Gracie reports, the very idea of fighting Team GB for second place is a surprise in Beijing - and not a pleasant one.
