Mo Farah grabs a selfie with Team GB fans
Mo Farah took the time to grab a selfie with fans after taking the 5,000m title in Rio. He became only the second man to defend both Olympic long distance titles, adding to the 10,000m gold he has already collected at the games.
Team GB supporters John and Ian were lucky enough to be in the shot. John told 5 live: “Our friend gave his phone to Mo, and he took a selfie with us in the background - absolute genius.”
Farah’s medal helped Team GB to surpass their total from London 2012, with 67 guaranteed medals.
“He’s one of the greatest Olympians we have, we have so many now and he’s right up there,” added the awestruck fan.
