Papahānaumokuākea: the long name for the world's largest marine reserve
Hawaii-born President Obama enlarges Papahānaumokuākea, the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands reserve, creating the world’s largest marine protected area containing more than 7,000 marine species. Matt Rand is director of the Ocean Legacy, part of the Pew charitable trust.
