German lady who removes racist street stickers
One of the consequences of the influx of refugees to Germany - has been the rise of the anti-immigrant AfD party. But what impact has it had on racist sentiments on the street? One person who says they've become far more islamophobic is 70 year-old Berliner Irmela Mensah-Schramm. The sprayer granny - as she's known - has been trying to counter neo-Nazi propaganda in a very direct way for the past three decades: removing - or painting over - more than a hundred thousand far-right stickers or pieces of graffiti. She removed her very first sticker on September the first 1986.
