Keith Vaz has announced he is standing down as chairman of the 蜜芽传媒 Affairs Select committee, following
allegations in a Sunday newspaper that he had paid for the services of escorts.

The acting chair of the committee, Conservative MP Tim Loughton, explained to PM why Mr Vaz had taken the difficult decision to resign after nine years in the role.
