'Keith has put the work of the committee first'
Keith Vaz has announced he is standing down as chairman of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Affairs Select committee, following
allegations in a Sunday newspaper that he had paid for the services of escorts.
The acting chair of the committee, Conservative MP Tim Loughton, explained to PM why Mr Vaz had taken the difficult decision to resign after nine years in the role.
