Ellie Simmonds on bronze: I just want a hug from my parents

Ellie Simmonds won bronze for Paralympic GB, but was disappointed to lose her London 2012 title in the Women's S6 400m freestyle.

“I don’t know what happened to be honest. I went out there and gave it everything. It just wasn’t good enough for today.”

When asked by reporter and former Paralympian Kate Grey “How do you move on from this?” - an emotional Simmonds, who picked up her fifth gold in yesterday's SM6 200m medley race, replied “I just need a hug from my parents”.
